“Independent Labels and Artists Unite!”… is our motto when it comes to distribution. Every day there are smaller labels and artists who believe in their products and take the risk of bringing products to market. By joining forces we offer a stable distribution partner in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Physical distribution via bol.com, Amazon and all specialty stores in the BeNeLux and worldwide Digital distribution at more than 70 download and streaming services including Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, TIDAL, Deezer, Soundcloud, Facebook and Youtube.
And we have been doing this for more than 400 artists for more than 20 years.
We act towards wholesale as one large distributor, making a fist towards trade and media by clustering the Independent Labels.
As an Independent Artist you have the opportunity to offer your music in a professional manner. Physically, digitally or via our own webshop.
To ensure everything runs smoothly, you will be assigned a personal label manager who will work with you to determine the best release strategy.
You are proud of the music you make and you have taken the step to release it on, as they say so beautifully, a sound carrier. Because it can be anything these days: CD, Vinyl but also cassette tapes.
But then…. You want your fans to be able to buy the album not only at performances, but also online without you having to worry about ordering, payment and shipping costs.
This is possible with us. With our own webshop www.media-store.nl we offer you, as an independent artist, the opportunity to offer your products in a professional manner together with artists who came before you.
We also carry a number of our own labels that were started specifically for certain music genres. Releasing your release on a label has a big advantage. In the media it is seen as a full-fledged release and the distribution is well arranged. As an extra service, we can release the album you recorded with us on one of our labels, provided it fits within the label.
Initially formed to release Mennen's albums, more artists were later embraced to release their music on the Snakebite Records label. Snakebite Records has now built up a name for itself as a quality rock and metal label.
BiteMark Records is a relatively young label in our stable. This label mainly focuses on pop and dance related music. Whether this is mainstream, house, EDM, dance hall or dubstep. In addition, albums with world music and folk are also not avoided.
The studio used to be located in an old mushroom nursery and the name Sjampingjon Records spontaneously arose. This label mainly releases releases that have something to do with carnival or Dutch and dialect folk music.
